The Most Ideal Way To Cook Perfect Medium Rare Steak


If you’re a steak lover, you know that nothing beats the perfect medium-rare steak. However, achieving that ideal medium-rare steak can be challenging. So, what’s the most ideal way to cook a perfect medium-rare steak? 

 

  1. Choose the right cut of steak

    The first step in cooking the perfect medium-rare steak is to choose the right cut of steak. Some of the best cuts for a medium-rare steak include ribeye, and tenderloin. Look for a steak that is at least 1 inch thick and has a good amount of marbling. 

  2. Let the steak come to room temperature

    Before you start cooking the steak, let it come to room temperature. This allows the steak to cook more evenly. Take the steak out of the refrigerator about 2 hours before cooking it.

  3. Season the steak

    Season the steak generously with salt and pepper. You can also add other seasonings such as garlic powder, onion powder, or paprika. Rub the seasoning into the steak and let it sit for a few minutes before cooking.

  4. Heat up the pan
