We ordered feb 13. Paid and all confirmed. TFB confirmed delivery time will be next day feb 14 between 10am to 5pm. No problem with it as we intend to cook the steak for dinner at 6pm. Come feb 14, 4:45pm and thereโs absolutely 0 update on the delivery. I followed up 2x via Messenger. 5:29pm, CS booked lalamove. TFB office hours is until 5:30pm. And mind you it will be from Cubao to Sta Rosa - on Valentines day - on peak hours. I feel bad for the lalamove rider. Weโre already frustrated at this point because it appears our order was not dispatched earlier that day and we waited whole day for nothing!!!! Order arrived at 9:09pm thats after 3.5 hours!!! The steak was fully thawed!!! And its too late in the evening for us to eat meat and so our supposed steak dinner date didnโt happen. The AI bot in messenger adds to the frustration as it keeps sending the same message over and over again. Asking if thereโs anything it can help me with when my main concern is not yet resolved. Honestly, my first order experience with TFB is seamless. The second order experience was a bit disappointing because they gave us marbled steak when we didnโt even asked for it and the quality of the marbled steak was not good!!! This is the third order experience we had, and its overall terrible, stressful, frustrating.
TL;DR: committed delivery time by TFB is 10am to 5pm, our order arrived 9:09pm with 0 update/communication from the TFB customer service.
Ordered 1" USDA Ribeye steak and Japanese Wagyu Cubes. Not much marbling but the meat is exceptionaly tender (even better than restaurant steaks outside)! Will definitely order again! And the herbed butter was simply delightful.
The meat is so tender and best for first timers cooking steak at home. Kahit na kabado dahil walang exp. Pero dahil sa lambot niya. Kahit anong doneness niya mangunguya mo siya! Walang chewy parts for our experience. Looking forward for our next steak lunch/dinner at home with the fat butcher's meat products!
