Butteraged T-Bone Steak: The Science Behind Its Unique Flavor

Butteraged T-Bone Steak: The Science Behind Its Unique Flavor

Aging beef enhances flavor, but butter-aging elevates it to an entirely new level. Our Butteraged T-Bone Steak is a masterpiece of technique and patience, resulting in a cut with intensified richness and a subtle buttery aroma.

What Is Butter-Aging?

Unlike traditional dry-aging, butter-aging involves encasing the steak in butter, creating a protective seal. This prevents excessive moisture loss while allowing enzymes to break down muscle fibers, producing tenderness and complexity of flavor. The butter also infuses subtle creaminess into the beef.
